TorfsBot is een Twitterbot dat al sinds 2016 volautomatisch tweet in de stijl van Rik Torfs. Het heeft leren tweeten in deze stijl door allerlei tweets en columns van Rik Torfs te analyseren. Maar hoe werkt zo een algoritme nu precies? En hoe gemakkelijk kan je een imitatietweet onderscheiden van een echte? Kan en mag je zomaar eender wie nadoen?
In dit Metaforum middaggesprek bespreekt Thomas Winters (Declaratieve Talen en Artificiële Intelligentie, KU Leuven) hoe deze populaire Twitterbot werkt. Tinne Tuytelaars (Beeld- en Spraakverwerking, KU Leuven) gaat met hem in gesprek.
